Matt Stauffer was born and raised in Little Rock. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School before obtaining his bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. While in college, Matt joined the Arkansas Air National Guard at the 188th Fighter Wing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Matt returned home and completed his law degree at the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.
Matt knows the cities and towns of Central Arkansas, as well as the people who live here. He's worked with and against prosecutors, defense attorneys, and civil attorneys across the State. He knows how things are done in Arkansas, but more importantly, he knows how to get things done.
After law school, Matt spent a year clerking for a Judge in Pulaski County. He then worked as a prosecutor in Pulaski County for 7.5 years. During his time as a prosecutor, he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies including thefts, drug offense, robberies, domestic violence, shootings, and sexual assaults.
